Individual Therapy

Starting therapy takes courage. Whatever brings you here, my hope is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel genuinely heard, and begin to make sense of what's been weighing on you.

Who I work with

I work with adults across a wide range of concerns. Many of the people I see are navigating one or more of the following:

Emotional and clinical concerns

  • Anxiety, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic

  • Depression and persistent low mood

  • Chronic stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion

  • The long shadow of trauma, including early relational wounds

  • Disordered eating and body image

  • Perfectionism and harsh self-criticism

Life and relational concerns

  • Recurring patterns in close relationships—conflict, disconnection, longing

  • Family-of-origin dynamics and their imprint on the present

  • Self-worth and identity

  • Cultural identity, immigration, and the experience of living between worlds

  • Major life transitions—career, relationships, midlife

  • The transition into parenthood—emotional, relational, and identity shifts during pregnancy and the postpartum period

  • High-functioning but quietly struggling

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals, women navigating life and identity questions, and young adults in or just out of college. If you're not sure whether what you're bringing is a fit, reach out—we can talk it through.

What therapy with me looks like

We start with what matters most to you right now. In the early sessions, I'll spend time getting to know you—what you're going through, your history, what you've already tried, and what you hope therapy might help you reach. From there, we develop a shared understanding of what's going on and a sense of direction for the work.

The pace is something we figure out together. Some moments are slower and more experiential—staying with what's emerging emotionally, in a way that often reaches things "thinking it through" can't. Other moments are more concrete and action-oriented—working out strategies, trying new ways of coping, building skills you can carry into daily life. Either way, I follow your pace. I won't push you toward places you're not ready to go, but I'll stay curious and give you honest responses along the way.

How I work

I'm warm, engaged, and collaborative. I'm not the kind of therapist who only nods and listens in silence. I'll be genuinely with you, attentive to what's happening in the moment, and I'll gently bring your attention to patterns, feelings, and moments that matter—including the ones you might be inclined to skim past.

Therapy shouldn't feel like a black box. You have a right to know what I'm doing and why. My approach is integrative: I draw flexibly on different evidence-based and depth-oriented frameworks depending on you and what you bring. You can read more about my training and clinical background on the About Me page.
