Scars remind us where we’ve been, they don’t have to dictate where we are going. - Unknown

 How I work

You may find yourself stuck or in pain in your relationships—with yourself, with others, with the world, or with your past. The struggle may show up as loneliness, emptiness, or patterns in relationships that keep repeating despite your best efforts. It may also manifest as symptoms: anxiety, depression, panic, disordered eating, or a persistent sense of numbness. I strive to create trust in a nonjudgmental and authentic atmosphere, from where we work together to understand your struggles, identify and remove the blocks that keep you stuck, and help you live your life with more agency, vitality, and connection.

I've trained across a range of evidence-based traditions—cognitive-behavioral therapies, intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP), and attachment-based experiential approaches such as AEDP and EFT. I also have a keen interest in trauma and continue to pursue training in this area. Rather than applying a single method to everyone, I blend insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused approaches in ways that fit who you are and what you're working through—because any struggle is embedded in the tapestry of your unique history and personality makeup, and the therapy should be, too.

My style in session is warm, collaborative, and actively engaged. I'm not a passive listener who nods along silently—I'm present with you, noticing what's happening in the room, gently drawing attention to patterns, emotions, and moments that matter, including the ones you might be inclined to gloss over. Sometimes our work is more experiential—slowing down to sit with what's emerging rather than rushing past it. Other times it's more practical and action-oriented—working on concrete strategies, trying new behaviors, or building skills you can use between sessions. What guides me is always the same question: what does this person need? I follow your lead, and I won't push you somewhere you're not ready to go—but I will stay curious, offer honest reflections, and walk alongside you into the places that matter.
