      <image:caption>Yiling Zhang, Ph.D. — Bilingual Clinical Psychologist in Greater Boston I'm a licensed clinical psychologist offering therapy in English and Mandarin (中英双语) to adults navigating anxiety, depression, self identity, relational struggles, life transitions, and early emotional wounds. I've trained across a range of evidence-based traditions—cognitive-behavioral therapies, ISTDP, and attachment-based approaches such as AEDP and EFT. Rather than applying a single method to everyone, I blend insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused approaches in individualized ways that fit who you are and what you're working through. I am in full-time private practice after many years as a staff psychologist at Harvard University, Case Western Reserve University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. I serve clients via telehealth and in person at my Andover office if needed. I'm also the Chinese translator of Irvin Yalom's Existential Psychotherapy and The Gift of Therapy, and a member of the Expert Committee at Jiandanxinli (简单心理), China's largest therapist platform.</image:caption>

Sometimes our work is more experiential—slowing down to sit with what's emerging rather than rushing past it. Other times it's more practical and action-oriented—working on concrete strategies, trying new behaviors, or building skills you can use between sessions. What guides me is always the same question: what does this person need? I follow your lead, and I won't push you somewhere you're not ready to go—but I will stay curious, offer honest reflections, and walk alongside you into the places that matter.       <image:caption>你好，我叫张怡玲，是一名美国执照临床心理学家，也是中国心理学会的注册督导师。我在北京大学心理学系师从甘怡群教授和钱铭怡教授，获得临床心理学硕士学位，之后全奖在夏威夷大学获得临床心理学博士学位。我在培训期间实习的机构包括认知行为治疗诊所、大学咨询中心和进食障碍诊所，提供的服务包括心理测评、个体咨询、团体咨询、婚姻咨询以及危机干预。获得博士学位之后，我先后在西北大学（博士后）、弗吉尼亚联邦大学（临床心理学家兼进食障碍专家）、凯斯西储大学（资深临床心理学家）、哈佛大学（临床心理学家）从事心理咨询工作，并为临床/咨询心理学博士生提供临床督导。目前我在波士顿地区全职私人执业，主要提供个体咨询和婚姻咨询。</image:caption>
